Being a fire fighter is a very tough job, as it requires every fireman to put his life on the line when the duty calls for it. Aside from the obvious dangers that this job may bring, it also requires firemen to constantly use their knowledge, courage, agility, stamina, and physical strength up to the point of exhaustion during the times when there’s an actual fire situation at hand. Moreover, the job is extremely hazardous because fire fighters are always exposed to environments that are very hostile in nature, making each encounter with fire a very challenging task. With all the occupational hazards that this job may bring, one may think that the only people that would take this profession seriously are the thrill seekers and the brave hearted. It’s very uncommon for people who only seek a decent salary to choose this as a day job simply because of the pay. No one can deny that fire fighters receive a pretty decent annual salary.
