PMI Certification
Project Management Professionals are required to attain no less than 60 Professional Development Units within a three-year cycle and agree to continue to adhere to PMI®'s PMP® Code of Professional Conduct. The Project Management Institute (PMI®) conducts a certification program in project management. PMI®'s Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential is the project management profession's most globally recognised and respected certification credential. To obtain PMP® certification an individual must satisfy education and experience requirements, agree to and adhere to a Code of Professional Conduct, and pass the PMP® Certification Examination. If you earn ESI's Master's Certificate in Project Management or Master's Certificate in Information Technology Project Management, you are also well on your way toward certification as a project management professional (PMP®) by the PMI®. The core curriculum for each of those programs addresses all 10 areas of knowledge tested in PMI®'s certification exam.
