Victor Cruz Grandmother
Victor Cruz, the Super Bowl-winning and record-breaking wide receiver, is best known for his explosive plays and salsa touchdown celebrations. While his meteoric rise in the NFL looked like the result of a magical year, it was actually a lifetime in the making. New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz lost his grandmother, a very important person in his life and the reason for his signature salsa touchdown dance. His grandmother, Lucy Molina, had been battling several illnesses including diabetes until she passed at the age of 77. Cruz credits his grandmother and his mother Blanca for raising him as a child, and recently told Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN how much his grandmother meant to him.
